In this first book in The Peggy Perch series, our friend Betsy Bobcat must make one of those difficult decisions.
With Peggy Perch's help, Betsy learns that by sharing her feelings with family and friends, she can reach a decision that is true to her heart.
Author PEGGY CRETEN worked for many years as a guidance counselor in a K-8 elementary school. Her books are based on her own experiences listening to students share their problems and guiding them toward solutions. Peggy hopes that her stories will encourage valuable discussions between children and parents, teachers or counselors.
All of the Peggy Perch books will address common school age problems including peer-pressure, bullying, decision making and conflict resolution. The next book, a story about bullying on the bus, is entitled "Rosie Raccoon Finds Courage."
When the forest children of Glen Lake decide to play a trick on the elderly substitute teacher, Betsy Bobcat has to make a difficult choice.
Should she go along with the prank or should she risk being teased again for being a “Goody-Goody?”
Meet Peggy Perch. Peggy has learned a lot from the fish in her school. She knows that little fish — and little children — are very smart, but sometimes they have to make difficult decisions.
"Betsy Bobcat Chooses Kindness" is available in bookstores and at Amazon now.
